Strategic Overview

IUSign utilizes a tiered service architecture designed to scale alongside organizational document logistics requirements. From individual professional use to high-volume enterprise automation, each tier is curated to provide the appropriate level of security, branding, and throughput capacity. Billing is centralized at the tenant level, providing administrators with transparent oversight of license utilization, transactional volume, and fiscal history.

Billing Lifecycle and Financial Protocols

1. Subscription Cycles

IUSign supports both Monthly and Annual billing periods.

  • Annual Efficiency: Annual plans offer a significant discount (typically 20%) compared to monthly cycles and are recommended for established enterprise workflows.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew to prevent service interruption for active public links and API integrations.

2. Pro-Rata Adjustments

When an organization upgrades tiers or adds user seats mid-cycle:

  • Calculation: IUSign automatically calculates the pro-rated value of the unused portion of the current plan.
  • Credit Application: This value is applied as a credit toward the new plan, ensuring you only pay the delta for the upgraded service level.

3. Identity and Seat Management

For multi-user tiers, costs are driven by the number of active Seats.

  • Seat Reclamation: Deactivating an inactive user immediately frees up a seat for a new hire, maximizing license efficiency.
  • Volume Monitoring: While most paid tiers offer unlimited envelopes, the platform monitors for anomalous, high-throughput activity to ensure system stability.
