This guide provides technical instructions for monitoring and interpreting the performance metrics of high-volume Public Signing Links within the IUSign platform.

Prerequisites

  • Active Solo, Growth, or Enterprise subscription tier.
  • Existence of at least one active Public Signing Link.

Strategic Overview

For organizations utilizing Public Links for mass distribution, data-driven visibility is essential for understanding recipient engagement and optimizing workflow efficiency. IUSign provides real-time telemetry for every active Public Link, allowing administrators to track the conversion funnel from initial click to final signature execution. This performance data is critical for identifying bottlenecks in public-facing forms, assessing the effectiveness of distribution channels (e.g., QR codes vs. website buttons), and ensuring organizational compliance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Public Link Analytics dashboard provides the following granular metrics:

MetricForensic DefinitionRationale
Unique ViewsNumber of unique sessions initiated.Measures the reach of the distribution channel.
Identity Verification Rate% of users who successfully complete the OTP handshake.Measures the quality of the incoming traffic.
Completion Rate% of verified users who successfully execute the document.Measures the clarity and efficiency of the document itself.
Average VelocityMean time from "View" to "Finish."Identifies potential complexity or friction in the document.

Analytical Features and Insights

1. The Conversion Funnel

Analyze the "drop-off" points within your public workflow:

  • Initial Bounce: Users who click the link but do not provide identity data.
  • Verification Failure: Users who provide an email but do not complete the OTP verification.
  • Abandonment: Users who verify their identity but do not finalize the document.

2. Geographic and Temporal Context (Enterprise)

View exactly when and where your Public Links are being utilized:

  • Heat Maps: Visualize the geographic origin of signatories based on IP metadata.
  • Time-Series Analysis: Identify peak engagement windows (e.g., "90% of waivers are signed between 8 AM and 10 AM") to optimize your distribution strategy.

3. Aggregate Data Export

For deep-dive analysis or integration with external BI tools (like Tableau or PowerBI), select Export Analytics.

  • Data Structure: Download a CSV containing anonymized session data, including entry points, duration, and completion status.

Strategic Optimization Based on Analytics

  • Improving Completion: If the "Average Velocity" is high (e.g., > 10 minutes for a simple waiver), consider simplifying the Document Template or reducing the number of mandatory fields.
  • Channel Comparison: Utilize unique Public Links for different distribution vectors (e.g., one for your website, one for social media) to compare which channel produces the highest conversion rate.
  • Security Review: If you notice a high volume of "Verification Failures," it may indicate an issue with recipient email deliverability or a potential bot/spam attack. Consider enabling an Access Code for the link.
